Keeping a good basic wardrobe in black, white, grey & nude colours – a wardrobe that is super versatile and timeless is a great way to stay stylish and play it safe at a low budget. However, to avoid it that it gets too dull and safe a pop of colour is the perfect way to ad a personal touch and stay updated on latest trends.
If you invest in colourful accessories, but keep your wardrobe neutral you don’t have to change the entire wardrobe every season.

Leather jackets are one of the rare items that are always cool and stay hot year after year. But the look of the iconic jacket changes every season, so having a few different styles in your wardrobe is a not a bad idea. I always wear my leather jackets during spring and fall as they are perfect “season transition” items.
This spring i updated my leather collection with a white jacket from ZARA, that is a big oversize with a biker cut. I bought it on sale and I love it.
Another style I really like this season is the “lacer-cut” leather jacket from Helmut Lang. Unfortunately the original is out of my reach money-wise, but I found this one from Oasis that is still in a good quality and on half price.

Im crazy about boyfriend jeans at the moment and my favorite combo is definitely to pair them with a set of stilettos to ad a feminine chic touch. Destroyed boyfriend jeans with strappy stilettos – in my world thats a win.

Even though it is still winter a new season is near (jubii) and in spring 13 its back to the 90´s and the hip hop look. If you want to join this trend colourfull sneakers is a musthave. The sneaker trend actually started last season with Isabel Marant’s wedge sneakers (the first picture) and the coming season high end brands like Gucci (pic 2), Miu Miu (pic 3) and Christian Louboutin (pic 4) have all created their version of a cool sneaker. Actually you can wear any sneakers, but preferably they should be colourfull, have studs or a different texture like fake snake-print or something else that makes them unique. When you say Diesel most people probably think of cool denim jeans – I do anyways. I remember when I was younger I thought the coolest kids had jeans from diesel and so I had to have them as well of course
During the last couple of years Diesel has changed its design eastehic, which is most noticable in the female collections. Diesel as a brand now focus on apparel in generel and not only on denim. The theme Rough goes Gentle is explicit in the rough yet sophisticated collections. But of course the denim brand identity has not been abandoned but rather updated with the cool concept of “Fit Your Attitude”.
I have been invited to a blogger event to view the new SS13 pre collection before it hits the stores in primo November and I’m looking forward to sharing the pictures with you guys. The SS13 pre collection should feature military trousers, parka coats, leather jackets and metallic colours – to me that sounds very promising so stay tuned for updates from the event
Have you ever been invited to a red carpet event or another big occasion like a wedding, where it is custom to wear a fancy galla dress? I have and every time my wardrobe cause me trouble since I don’t have a single gala dress in my closet. I’m probably only gonna wear it once, therefore Im not fund of emptying my bank account on a gorgeous galla dress – even though I want to look stunning going to the ocasion.
