A new exclusive collection in the making

I hope you are not tired of hearing about my little baby – my business Vera Vega – by now, but since it means so much to me I just can’t help telling you guys about it. You may already know that the traditional Vera Vega pieces primarily consists of design in non-traditional materials, but at the moment Vera Vega is working on a new collection which features jewelry in more precious materials. The collection is named Vera Vega Exclusive.

The Exclusive collection features danish design – 925 Sterling Silver jewellery handcrafted in our own studio. Additionally, the Exclusive collection holds delicate Swarovski jewellery and chunky necklace chains.

The first pieces in 925 sterling silver are the Miss Alba rings. They are minimalistic with an edge and can be mixed and stacked in various ways, making it possible for you to create your own and personal expression, trend story or statement look of your desire.

The Vera Vega Exclusive swarovski collection features jewellery with the finest quality crystals. Swarovski is a world renowned brand and the high quality makes it possible to create exquisite designs. Vera Vega Exclusive uses gorgeous multi-faceted beads cut with extra facets for optimum light refraction, which give them an intense and brilliant sparkle.

Shooting the LOOKBOOK 2012

We had such a great day shooting the Vera Vega Lookbook for 2012. It was a long day and a lot of work, but we enjoyed every minute on the set and we thought you guys should have the opportunity to get a look behind the scenes. Okay guys, remember I wrote sometime ago that it was time for new design on the blog due to new opportunities – well, the new opportunities were the fact that I have started my own business, and I am really excited about it. Well, it is a very small business, but non the less it is my passion and I really hope you will visit my new webshop and let me know what you think. I have put A LOT of time into it and any input will be highly appreciated. My business is called Vera Vega and it is a webshop where I sell jewellery online. Okay, jeg kan nu endelig løfte sløret for, hvad jeg snakkede om tidligere, da jeg skrev, at det var tid til et nyt design på bloggen her pga. nye muligheder. Sagen er, at jeg har startet virksomhed, nemlig en webshop hvor jeg sælger smykker, primært af eget design. Det er godt nok en meget lille virksomhed, men jeg har alligevel brugt RIGTIG meget tid på den og alt ris/ros modtages med glæde. Gorgeous wedding dress – yet affordable :)

Last summer I got engaged to my beloved boyfriend. We have been together for 7 years now, but his proposal came as a big surprise to me anyhow. I know that traditionally you are supposed to get married within a year, but being a student it can be a challenge to make ends meet sometimes, so we have decided to postpone the marriage thing until I graduate. However, If I were to get married this summer I know exactly what I would wear.

I want to look great of course and different – I’m not the “white princess gown” kind of girl. I want a short dress and it should not be too expensive because I will spend my money on the shoes instead – the nude Christian Louboutin stilettos I dream of should not be hidden underneath a long gown.

I have fallen in love with a beautiful dress from By Malene Birger which is actually on sale right now, and then I would style it up with jewelry from Maria Black and Dannijo, which are my 2 favorite jewelry designers at the moment.  So here is what I would wear if I were to be married this august.

Min kæreste friede til mig sidste sommer. Vi har været sammen i 7 år, men det kom alligevel fuldstændig bag på mig. Traditionelt set burde vi gifte os denne sommer, men jeg er stadig studerende på SU, og pengene er ikke så store for tiden, så vi har besluttet at vente til jeg er færdiguddannet.

Men når den store dag kommer, er jeg ikke i tvivl om, hvad jeg skal have på. Jeg har aldrig haft den store prinsessedrøm om at blive gift i en lang hvid kjole – min skal være kort og skille sig ud, men vigtigst er det, at man kan se skoene :-) Jeg drømmer nemlig om at investere i et par nude farvede stiletter fra Christian Louboutin, og det ville jo være synd at gemme sådanne darlings under en lang kjole.

Var det mig der blev ført op af kirkegulvet til august, ville jeg bære en smuk kjole, jeg har forelsket mig i fra By Malene Birger. Som en ekstra bonus er den endda på udsalg lide nu. For at style outfittet lidt op ville jeg tilsætte smykker fra mine 2 ynglings designere lige nu – nemlig Dannijo og Maria Black.
