High End VS High Street #1

At Vera Vega we are big fans of affordable fashion, which is also the reason why we make jewellery at prices most people can afford, but that still looks edgy, chic and super cool. The same holds true for the many great high street companies that have gained popularity the last years. My own favourites are ZARA, Topshop, COS and the latest project by H&M; &Other Stories looks very promising.

The high street brands are often inspired by the high-end and established designers and that is sometimes very evident in their designs. The great thing is that we then have the opportunity to acquire the latests trends and must-haves at affordable prices. And remember, buying high-street sometimes makes it possible to invest in really great designer items once in while :)

Marc Jacobs er lidt af en kamæleon når det kommer til hans designs – der spænder fra sofistikeret og klassisk til et mere grunget og råt udtryk. Med andre ord, det bliver aldrig kedeligt, og der er altid noget for enhver smag. Derfor har hans mærker også opnået stor anerkendelse.

Snart er det ikke kun københavnerne der kan lade sig friste af den amerikanske cultdesigners lækre designs. Onsdag den 18. august åbner Marc by Marc Jacobs i Århus. Butikken fører både designerens tøj, sko og taske linier, og især Marc Jacobs accessories er bredt repræsenteret. Marc by Marc Jacobs holder åbningsreception fra kl. 16.00-21.00 i Volden onsdag den 18. august. Her vil butikken byde på slik og slush ice, mens du kan shoppe en masse lækre Marc Jacobs accessories til sprøde toner fra DJ’en. Alle er velkomne.
